Auto complete
Many tools of the program supports so called automatic complete. For example in the file tool's "Source" box supports it. You can write just a first few letters of the directory's name and then simply hit the TAB key and the program automatically completes the directory's name, if the program guessed wrong hit the TAB again.

The directory explorer
When you browse for directories with the jv16 PowerTools you use the directory explorer. It knows some very neat tricks.

First of all, when you click the button (the ... button) to start to browse for directories you can right click the button and the directory explorer opens to the directory what's written in the box next to the ... button. For example, write "C:\" to the "Source" box in the file tool and right click the ... button next it and the directory explorer automatically opens to your C drive.

Do you want to create a directory with while browsing? Just type the new directory's name to the box and wait for a few seconds and a button named "Create" appears. Click it and it creates the directory. You can also create the sub-directories with one click. For example, if you want to create a directory called "Test" with sub-directories "1", "2", "3" and "4" you can do it by writing "Test\1\2\3\4" to the box and hitting the create button. The program automatically creates all the sub directories for you.

If you want first to create a directory and the select it you can do it by writing the new directory's name to the box and hitting the enter key twice. For example, write "C:\New directory\New SubDir" to the box and hit the enter key twice. Be sure to hit the enter twice fast enough.

Drag and Drop
If you want just to do some procedures to files, like to mass rename them or change their attributes you can simply drag the files from your desktop of from the Explorer to the main window or to the file tool. Now you can just select the files and do what you want to them, you can save quite a lot of time when you don't need to configure the file tool to find those files.

The search box (Ctrl + F)
Do you want also to select the find items and not just to highlight them? You can, of course, do that by selecting the option from the search windows but you can do that also by hitting the enter key twice.

The switch window
Are you running the Registry Tool and you would like to use the file tool? You could navigate to the file tool from the main window but if you are in a hurry you can use the switch window. Press down the CTRL key and then the SHIFT key. Now a menu appears, you can browse the menu by clicking the SHIFT key or with your mouse. You can also CTRL and the "<" key next to it if SHIFT + CTRL is used by Windows to change windows' language.
